DESCRIPTION
Launched in 2003, Osmanthus is one of the earliest Ormonde Jayne perfumes. Like a deliciously crisp spring day, this uplifting creation is intense, fresh and yet uncomplicated. The osmanthus is a fruity floral white flower from Japan and China. In this scent, a beautifully composed bouquet of the Japanese osmanthus absolute, water lily and sambac is uncovered with effervescent golden citrus notes of pomelo and pimento. Layered on a bed of Egyptian sweet herbs, Osmanthus has a cheerful character and far reaching dry down.
As a top-noted perfume, the creation is poured at the high strength of 30% for lasting power. An ‘eau fresh’ with tenacity, Osmanthus is perfect for those intense summer days – it cuts through the heat and revives the base notes.
Top tip: Spray it on a fan when sitting in the sun.
